iDrive is the operating concept of the infotainment

General information
These functions can be operated as follows:

Principle
The iDrive functions are displayed on the Control
Display. The Control Display can be operated using
the Controller, touchpad, and touchscreen.

Opening the main menu
Press the button.
The main menu is displayed.
Selecting a menu
Selecting menu items
1. Turn the Controller until the desired menu
item is highlighted.
2. Press the Controller.

Special tools required:

(cylinder bank 1 to 4)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove servomotor from right eccentric shaft.
Remove right cylinder head cover.
Remove all spark plugs on cylinder bank 1 to 4.
If necessary, remove fan cowl.
IMPORTANT: Screw (1) is a
Frame Alignment Control Dimensions, Body
Dimensions in mm.
Measurement tolerances:
< or = 1000 mm +- 1.5 mm
> or = 1000 mm +- 2.5 mm
The control points shown serve to check the body and the straightening
attachment.
The specified dimensions/measurements always refer to the centerpoint of the
bore/screw.
