Principle
The iDrive functions are displayed on the Control
Display. The Control Display can be operated using
the Controller, touchpad, and touchscreen.

Opening the main menu
Press the button.
The main menu is displayed.
Selecting a menu
Selecting menu items
1. Turn the Controller until the desired menu
item is highlighted.
2. Press the Controller.

Remove front wheels
Remove front underbody protection
Remove front right wheel arch cover (front section)
Remove radiator air duct
Remove right brake air duct with holder
Remove heat exchanger from front axle car
Removing And Installing/Replacing Car Communication Computer
IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD
protection).
NOTE: Comply with notes and instructions on handling optical
waveguides.
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove middle trim for instrument panel.
