Repairing Airbag Cables
IMPORTANT: Only repair those cables which show visible signs of damage. In
the event of
visible damage, make sure there is only one cable repair in effect after the
repair work. If no visible damage
General Information On Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS)

Do not introduce any additional connections at the battery

Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove front trim.
Open tension cable (1).
Disengage welt (2) from seat frame.
Disengage tensioning cable over wire eyelets.
Remove seat cover with padding from seat frame.
Release all retainers in marked area.
Remove seat cove
