Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove left output shaft.
Lever shaft seal (1) out of front differential with a screwdriver (2).

Use only approved gear oil in this transfer box.

Principle
At blind driveway exits or when driving out of perpendicular
parking spaces, road users approaching
from the side are detected sooner by the
cross traffic warning than is possible from the
driver's seat.
