Necessary preliminary tasks:
Remove left fresh-air grille.
Press out light control unit (1) from inside.

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Remove light control unit.
Installation:
Make sure retainers (2) are correctly seated on trim of light control unit.
General Information On Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS)

Do not introduce any additional connections at the battery

terminal.
Do not modify the grounding cable.
The grounding cable also serves to dissipate heat.
