Necessary preliminary tasks:
Read out fault memory of control unit of Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
Switch off ignition
Remove design cover, if equipped.
Unlock hose on tank venting valve and disconnect.
NOTE: Solenoid valve (1) controls adjustment unit on inlet side.
IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Extreme cleanliness must be ensured in the connection area of the vent
lines
during removal and installation. Even the smallest of dirt particles can cause
leakage in the air spring system
