Pedal Mounting Block

REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) COMPLETE BEARING BLOCK FOR FOOT PEDAL

Necessary preliminary tasks:

IMPORTANT: After completion of work, carry out function check.

Release screws (1).

Remove air duct (2).

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Remove locking clip (2) and pull out locking pin in direction of arrow.

Unscrew nuts (1).

Installation:

Replace self-locking nuts.

Tighten nuts (1) such that bearing block can still be moved.

Make sure bearing block is correctly seated on body.

Tighten nuts (1).

Tightening torque.

Remove left partition wall for equipment compartment.

Unclip retaining bar (1) and remove both brake lines (2) from guides.

Pull brake master cylinder with brake booster 30 mm forwards.

IMPORTANT: Do not bend brake lines.

Installation:

Retighten brake lines on brake master cylinder.

Tightening torque. Feed out bearing block for pedal assembly.

Replacement:

Replace brake light switch.

REPLACING SPRING FOR BRAKE PEDAL

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Disconnect return spring (1).

NOTE: Check grommet (2) for damage, replace if necessary.

Accelerator Pedal Actuator

REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE

Take off cap.

Release screw.

Pull accelerator pedal module upwards out of fixture.

Installation:

Tightening torque.

Pull off plug (1).

Remove accelerator pedal module.

IMPORTANT: Accelerator pedal module can only be replaced completely with adapter plate.
