Principle
The emergency braking function of PDC initiates
an emergency braking in case of acute risk of
collision.
General information
Due to system limits, a collision cannot be prevented
under all circumstances.
The function is available below walking speed
when driving in reverse or rolling back
IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against
electrostatic damage (ESD
protection).
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Read out fault memory of DME control unit; if necessary, work through
test schedules
Switch off ignition
Lever out expansion rivets (1).
Press lock (2) and raise in
